How the Jet-Vac works

jet vac

The Jet-Vac is seated on top of a receptacle. Compressed air is fed into the unit, this passes through the venturi housings. A vacuum is created within the receptacle. The air displacement creates a suction whereby materials, wet or dry are pulled into the receptacle.

By use of a float mechanism as the receptacle fills, the float cuts off the air supply. The unit ceases to operate.

The Jet-Vac V.1 will fill a 40 gallon drum with water at the rate of 1 gallon per second.

A Jet-Vac V9 will fill a suitable receptable with crude oil at the rate of 1 gallon per second.
